Volunteer Opportunities

Child Care Help

Adult help with child care during PTA meetings and school events is needed. The PTA Child Care Coordinator has games, movies, and arts & crafts to use during child care - we just need adults 18 years or older to monitor middle and high school students who help with child care for SSL hours. All children who attend child care are toilet trained. Please contact Janet Rugh-Williams if you can help - janet_k_williams@yahoo.com

Market Day

Every third Tuesday of the month - volunteers needed to unload truck and sort orders. Contact Lorie Chmielowiec at mikeandlorie@verizon.net.

Volunteer Info

All volunteers should sign-in at the office when they arrive and fill out a Visitor Pass, which should be worn at all times while on school grounds.

Get a Volunteer Badge

If you are a WLES volunteer and would like to have a printed badge made for your use while you are in the school, we need for you to submit a signed volunteer form. The volunteer forms can be found in the main office on the PTA table to the left when you walk in the door. Completed forms should be dropped in the PTA Mailbox in the office mailroom. A printed badge would save you the trouble of having to complete a Visitor’s Pass every time you volunteer at school (but you still have to sign in!). Thank you for your cooperation!
