One-Time Fundraisers

  • AMERICAN GREETINGS:
    The PTA has selected Amercian Greetings Catalog as our fall fundraiser for 2009. Brochures and order forms were sent home in your child's Friday Folder. Hopefully you had the opportunity at Back-to-School Night to see some of the sample products. Fundraisers such as these provide the funds that allow the PTA to provide our school with such great events as the four great Day Programs scheduled for the students this year, Science Night and Dolphinmania, not to mention paying for the printing costs of the Dolphin News, sponsoring the Reflections Art Program, and so much more! Orders will be accepted until October 5th. Please ensure that all checks are made out to Waters Landing PTA. Mark your calendar to pick up your order on November 12th at the school.   • GIANT A+ BONUSBUCKS PROGRAM:
    Our school can earn money every time you use the Giant BonusCard between October, 2009, and April, 2010. Parents, friends, staff and extended families of WLES can designate that purchases made using their Giant BonusCard are allocated to WLES by completing a form or signing up online. Our school ID is 00791. You can designate at any Giant store or at www.giantfood.com/aplus.

  • GENERAL MILLS BOX TOPS:
    Collect the labels of participating products, and send them in to school. Each label is worth $0.10 for our PTA. Contests will be run throughout the year for the most labels collected. Visit www.boxtops4education.com for qualifying products and more valuable information such as coupons and more ways to benefit our school.

  • eScrip.com:
    This program allows participating merchants to contribute a percentage of your grocery loyalty card, credit card, and debit/ATM card purchases to our PTA. Parents, friends, staff and extended families of WLES can register on-line at www.escrip.com and designate Waters Landing Elementary School, group ID 6679543. A complete list of all participating merchants (there is an online mall with over 700 of them) is also available on the website: your online shopping benefits the PTA. The eScrip Program runs on a calendar year; however, registration begins August 1, 2009. All registrations must occur by November 1, 2009 for WLES to be eligible to receive contributions.

  • Harris Teeter TIE:
    When customers purchase select Harris Teeter Brand products using their VIC card, Harris Teeter contributes a percentage of those purchase dollars to the schools of their choice. Qualifying products include Harris Teeter Brand products, Harris Teeter Brand, H.T. Traders, Harris Teeter Naturals, Harris Teeter Farmers Market, Hunter Farms, Top Care, More Value, Highland Crest, yourpet, Harris Teeter yourbaby and Harris Teeter yourtot. This one time sign up process must take place each school year. The school of your choice is linked to your VIC card until May 31. Simply give the cashier the WLES ID code 6579 and your VIC card when you check out - your card will be linked for the school year. You can also link your VIC card online at www.harristeeter.com.

  • TARGET:
    If you have a Target Visa Card, designate Waters Landing Elementary School to earn money through Target’s Take Charge of Education Program. WLES earns money based on purchases made with your card. To sign up, go to www.target.com/tcoe. The WLES code is 58240. If you don’t have a Target Visa, you may sign up for one and designate WLES right from the start.

  • MARKET DAY:
    Market Day is a unique fundraiser offering a wide selection of over 180 high quality foods at competitive prices, many of which are not available in your grocery store. Their products range from butcher shop meats and poultry to easy family meals, delicious appetizers and gourmet desserts. The products are backed by Market Day’s 100% satisfaction guarantee. This is a great way to support Waters Landing every month. Each month, a new order form will be sent home. Orders can be placed by filling out the order form and returning it to school, or online by going to www.marketday.com. Orders generally are ready to be picked up on the third Tuesday of each month in the All Purpose Room.
